Guess what I did today??
I packed!!! Yes, this made my day feel accomplished even though I didn't finish my reading philosophy paper that is due tomorrow. I'll get it done-I always do :)
It was also Corie's 21st birthday and so Greg and I went to go visit her after our busy day filled with stuff.
I had no class today because all we have left to do is the final presentation and that will be on Monday (and will be held at Caribou Coffee!) and then Wednesday which is something I will actually have to study for. Both are math classes with the same professor but different content, obviously. Then I have another final on Tuesday for Intermediate Literature. I'm not too worried about that final as long as I take the time to study for it. As for my other classes, I'm done with Social Studies methods, Math methods, and hopefully will be done with Middle School methods tomorrow night, but I have a feeling we'll still have to meet next Thursday night.
Today I remembered something I learned freshman year, and I can't remember who said it but I'm thinking it was the Sentwali, and it was that if you do anything at Drake, make sure you network and get your name out into the public! So remember that for anywhere you go, and do it!
And talking about being public, I, along with some other people from Teacher Quality Project (the placed I got hired by DMPS) will be on the cover of the next Drake Magazine. Kind of exciting if you ask me!
