LAST WEEK OF CLASSES!!!

It's Monday and you know what that means? It means its blogging time. We're in our final stretch of classes, closing things up and getting ready for finals. I had an absolutely fabulous weekend. The greatest yet this year, I believe. I saw most of my favs except for Corie, but I did see her for approximately 2. 35 minutes when I worked concessions for APO at Relays. Here is my weekend Recap:

Thursday night was when all the fun started. Cammeo, Annelise and I went to the foam party...and it went something like this...

The very beginning...very slippery but not much foam yet...

We get submerged! actually, we're just laying down here.

It was so cold you could see our breath.

This submersion is for real! I was just standing with Cammeo when all of a sudden the foam went over my face.

And I was terrified for my life, but having fun at the same time!

Then Friday I went to watch Relays with a few friends and also went to Court Ave. which was the best time out I've had in a really long time. A lot of the bars had live bands and Vaudeville Mews had our one and only Tim Schmidt play, which was AWESOME!

Outside of the Belle Center, across the street from the Stadium and Field House. They changed the student entrance to the stadium so we had to walk all the way around, which helped us discover this cool sign painted on the grass.

A LOT of buses from all the different schools where along this street. Erin things she's VIP..haha.
THERE THEY GO! watching is a lot of fun even when you don't know the people in the teams.

Check out the crowd and the runners.

Cammeo and I came back later that day b/c she hadn't been to relays yet and we found the stadium empty but with a hot air balloon on the field!

Then it flew away. We're not really sure what the point of that was for the fact that they weren't allowing people in the stadium until it was launched.

Court Ave. Party time. Josiah, Cammeo and Annelise are striking a pose.

Vaudeville Mews: Live bands! These are all Drake students!

Tim's band..this lady was fierce!

There's Tim on drums! (Cammeo has better pics that she hasn't shared yet).

My girls...great picture!

Its The Jim again!
My first time in Java Joes and guess what? They had mirrors all over inside the bathroom..and this is inside the stall!

Annelise playing around with her camera in the bathroom and I take the opportunity to get awesome reflection shots.

I really like this picture of me. Gives me an edge.

We got back to campus a little bit before 2 am and we were going to go to the Pancake Feed, but once we got there the line was intimidating and we just didn't feel like eating so we all headed home. I had to work concessions at 7:45 am! I was a little late and everyone was like, 'whoa you look tired!' Which was true...I was dancing all night long! After concessions, I had lunch, worked on some homework, had dinner, watched the very last relay competition and witnessed a record break by Baylor men's team. They won all four events that day. I need to ask Greg about the stats. Later that night, we went out dancing again but no pics. Sorry. Sunday was supposed to be homework day but it was a very slow homework day..and now its Monday and its time to get back into gear and finish this semester off with a bang!

I love this weather. Take care! Come to relays next year!!!

till laterz, keep it real.

Wow! I'm honored to have earned a mention - and photo - in your blog. Thanks for sticking around to watch that night. We're actually much better when I'm sober(ish).
