The fun continues..a busy week ahead of me. Once I live through this week I think I should be slowing down for all my classes. I still have many projects due. My social studies unit is really freaking me out b/c the professor is pretty knit picky about what she expects from us. On one side I love when professors tell us exactly what they want so we don't do too much or too little, but then on the other side I wish we were allowed to interpret the assignment how we wish too. I think this is one of those cyclical fights that will never win. I also have a lot of other stuff going on this week, but again, I cannot wait until the weekend so I can start working on projects due next week.
This weekend was a success. The Blood Drive went well. We had over 80 donors, with 62 units of blood collected because there were about 20 that couldn't donate. I skipped out on the APO movie night because I had to get some homework done. Then on Saturday morning we went to Children and Family Urban Ministries (CFUM..or Haven) to paint. Cheryl and I had been working on quote boards all week, so we finished our boards up there and hung them up. They look pretty awesome! Then that night was formal. My friend Sam is amazing. Greg couldn't and didn't want to come to formal and even though Sam had a date, he kept me company for most of the night :) Then there was Sunday, which was a little bit of catch on sleep and work on projects. I'm still not done. I just can't seem to find two articles that I printed out so I'm going bonkers, b/c I need those for part of my project. Big day later this week...still a surprise.
So far seems as though I'll be here until the last day of finals b/c my Math 144 class may not be done with presentations by then. Kind of a poop, but oh well. Gives me more time to pack I guess.
My phone is temporarily unusable and its crazy how I just want to pick it up and call whoever to tell or get info. I don't much like how dependent I am with it, but I do need it, especially with everything that I'm involved with....its kind of like email. I hate it, but I need it. A necessary evil, if you will.
APO activation this weekend and then dinner with my old roomies! Can't wait to see them b/c I missed the last formal with them since I went to APO's instead.
Okay, busy work time, then actual work, then dinner, then back to homework/studying. AAHHHH.
