I ended up staying at Drake until Saturday helping Greg pack, take things to storage and load his car. I didn't mind staying at all and it gave me more time to spend with him :) I won't see him during the entire summer and considering this is the third summer apart since we started dating, you'd think I'd be used to it by now, but the fact of the matter is that its the second day away from him and I already miss him.
I fell asleep shortly after I arrived home, which was about 3:30 pm, was woken up by my dad at the door, and then fell asleep soon after that. Sunday was mother's day it was fabulous. Today, I unpacked. The most complicated thing about unpacking is figuring out where to put everything. It's been so long since I've been home that I found all these random things of mine of which I have no idea why I kept. My goal for this summer is to clean my room at my mom's house, clean my room at my dad's house, and finally get all my education stuff straightened out. Nothing is necessarily messy, but I just own a lot of things and really need to get rid of a lot of it.
I showed my dad my tragus piercing first, and he didn't like it. I'm not surprised, but he wasn't disappointed or upset, so that was a definite plus. I showed my mom and the only thing she was worried about was the pain, but other than that she loved it. My aunt and my sister reacted the same way, "ooo, how much pain was that?" They don't appreciate awesome piercings like this. And my grandmother, she thought it was awesome! That on its own was the best!
I also need to work on the APO scrapbook, so I should try and get started on that soon enough.
Lastly, the job hunt. I don't really want to get a job because I want to work on all my hobbies and just chill out and watch TV for once! Although, the wise thing to do would be to get a job, so I might venture sometime and go hunting for a job. I have a couple places in mind, I just hope they want me as much as I need the employment by them! Well, off to my mom's house now!
Happy Summer!
