Final projects and units are all on their way!
I still feel like we just started this semester, but the truth is that its ending!
This means one very awesome thing: Greg will be back!
I met my cooperating student teaching teacher. I think this will be an interesting placement for me. I can see already how different we are and she subtly admitted she likes things done her way, but needs to realize things can be done multiple ways. She likes structure. I like to be organized. I'll leave that as that. I'm going to make the most of my experience. We'll see what happens next semester. The students are interesting-so many different backgrounds, experiences, knowledge...all observed in one hour. I do think I'll have to earn their respect. They don't seem to be the kind to just give it away.
Friday I'll meet my other teacher. I'm counting on this to be good because I'd love to be hired there.
My friend Marguerite was hired by Weeks Middle School! She has an endorsement in Math and they hired her for Social Studies. They said they'd give her Math for next Fall. I think it'll be awesome to have her in the same school district as me. In fact, if the Drake School of Education graduates all got hired by the same district-that would be some fun!
