TGIF!

So I just turned on the tv and saw that Drew Carey is the host of The Price is Right! weird. I thought they stopped making new shows.

Oh well.

I tried to run for PT on Wednesday-didn't turn out so well. Apparently, I'm not healed yet. My knee problem is frustrating and I wish I could run again. I feel like a slacker, but at the same time I feel like I shouldn't over exert myself for something that isn't my life. I'm excused from the running portion of the PT test that is on Monday. The Captain doesn't seem to be very pleased with me because of that, but she can't feel the pain.

I finally went to my mentor's school today to observe one class period. They were taking a test, so I thought it wouldn't be too interesting, but then of course I remembered its Middle School...its always interesting. I was really excited to be there. Usually I walk into a class and see if I can picture myself in there teaching, and this time I knew I belonged in there. It was a fabulous feeling. I really hope I get to teach Middle School Math.

So Drake took out their change machines b/c the the laundry room is supposed to be able to be ID card accessible...except they haven't activated any of that yet. Kind of frustrating. We then used the pop and candy machines to get quarters for laundry, but now they've rigged those machines that if you put money in you won't get anything out unless you buy something from the machine. What is this? Yes...just one more think for me to complain about.

I have a lot to do, but I need to go shop later with Linda and then possibly a workout with the girls later tonight. It's Friday, so I think I deserve a break.

Tomorrow is baby-sitting and Sunday is a day of meetings.

I'm beginning my weekend now.
