Thanksgiving Break!

I get to go home today!!!
I feel a little bad because I told the people I normally babysit for that I couldn't babysit today because I was going home. The reality is that I'm trying to leave as early as possible because I just need to get my break away from Drake. I've been so overwhelmed the last few weeks thats this drive home will be my piece of pie for the week. I do, however, hate driving in the dark. I have a really hard time seeing, especially when I don't know exactly where I'm going. I've driven home enough times to be familiar enough, but if there's still construction going on I may be in trouble. I always call my dad beforehand and ask him if he'll come find me if I get lost and he always says yes, which makes me happy whether he really means it or not. YaY for home! My plans are to do some homework and work on my crafts!!! AND, go watch a movie or two in the theatres because I haven't done that ALL semester-sad. Very sad.

I have a huge project due today. I don't even want to look at it anymore. I can't wait until its done, because then I get to come back, pack up, and go home! I'll need to eat too since today is the day I don't get a meal.

I went to see Comedian, Joe Koy on Saturday night and I got to be the "token Mexican" at Drake. The comedian is Filipino and he asked if there were any other Asians out there and then he didn't wait long enough for a response so as he said, "Are there any Mexicans" Annelise already had her finger pointing at me, and I said I wasn't Mexican, and Joe Koy said..."and you call her a friend! She doesn't even know what you are!" Annelise continued with saying that we've known each other for 4 years...it was hilarious and I was awarded the title of "Drake's Token Mexican"...yes, all very funny. Maybe you had to be there. He liked us so much he's sending Drake his DVDs for the people that attended his show. Very cool.

I'm really sleepy, but I have to head to class. Good day to all!
