It's the Indian New Year today! YaY! so....Happy New Year!
When I used to be home for this holiday, my mom said you should have a clean house, wear new clothes, and be in good spirits because today reflects what the rest of your year will be like. I don't have the cleanest room right now, I don't have on new clothes, and I'm sick, but I'm still trying to be in good spirits :)
Yesterday was Diwali (Ram returned home from being exiled for 14 years in the forest), today is New Year and tomorrow is when sisters invite their brothers over for dinner. Since I don't get to see my family during this time, I send them cards, so hopefully thats enough. I'm glad I'll be home next week!
I have never skipped a class in my entire life, so I think next week if my Tuesday night class does not get canceled, I'll skip it to go home. This gives me two extra days at home because of the drive. I'm a rebel, what can I say. My parents actually agreed with my idea too, so I'll email my professor and pass my idea along with him.
Today was the APO Pledge Retreat and one group didn't get there until 30 minutes after the other two groups had found us...they didn't realize they had destinations in a scavenger hunt. They got coffee on the way! haha. I thought that was funny. They're all a bunch of sillies.
I need to do my Management Plan now, so take care!
