I've never really been much of a partier, but I am definitely one to have a good time. Today, I had an extra exciting day.
I began my day at 5 am anticipating my PT test! I have to tell you that it went quite well. These were my results:
2 min Push-Ups: 34
2 min Sit-Ups: 43
2 mile run: 20:05 min.
Okay, so my run wasn't that great, but as long as I improve the next 2 times I am guaranteed an A! Well, I have to improve my push-ups and sit-ups too. After I finished doing push-ups I realized I probably shouldn't have done so many, but I guess I'll just have to really work my arms and core and aim for more. I'm pretty sure I got one of the best scores for push-ups in the girls' section.
I sprinted the last stretch of my 2 mile run, crossed the finish line and vomitted right there! It was beautiful. The funny part was that I didn't even feel sick while running, just tired and heavy, but I think I must have over exerted myself on that last stretch. It wasn't too disgusting, just a half a banana and no one noticed because one of the leaders kept asking me my last name and time while I was bent over. Oh well, all good! I was exhausted, so I came back, took a shower and napped until my next class. I was tired for the rest of the day, but I blame that on the fact that I couldn't sleep last night. It must have been test jitters. I had a horrible headache, so after having my stretch of classes from 9:30-3:15, I tried to take a nap. I had dinner with my APO son, Josh, and his friends, until about 6:40. Then after dinner, I went to the Funny Bones with my high school friend Sam and other people from Drake from about 7-9. We saw Ena Maye?...I could be very wrong with this name, but it was GREAT either way! Then, from 9-about 10ish I went to APO fellowship with Josh and Annelise at Mars Cafe and that was a lot of fun too. After that until about midnight, we went to Front Row, which is a bar down University Ave. Cammeo's boyfriend, Chris, was DJing there so we went to give him some support. We did some karaoke, and it was FABULOUS! Chris bought us drinks for coming and even sang our last song with us. We in our trio group (Linda, Annelise and I) sang Britney Spears, Destiny's Child and then closed off with Grease. LOVED IT!!
I think from now on my Wednesdays, as long as I don't get a job, I will go to Funny Bones and then to Front Row to hang out with Chris and other Drake people. YaY!
I have to babysit in the morning, so I should probably go to bed fairly soon. I have lots to do this weekend. Then, next weekend is GREG time!
This weekend should be fun, too!
Until later, be young, sing your heart out, and always make time for friends :)
