Thoughts before bed

I wonder...was I made to work? I ask myself that question far more than often and come up with the answer of no. Will I ever find a job where I'm always content? I hope so. I love to teach but I'm struggling with having students not care, being less than alert, and using excuses up the wazoo for everything. I hope this is a good week. Next week is Thanksgiving week and I took Wednesday off to take Gregory to Chemotherapy...I kind of hope the sub is so bad that the students realize how good they have it with me around. Is that selfish? Maybe. I just want them to appreciate all that I do for them. One day they will...one day when I'm too old to remember where I know them from. Goodnight.
