I took this weekend for myself. I really needed a break from school. Being at school for more than twelve hours on Thursday killed my Friday and I was pretty much done for the week. Luckily, my students knew I was not in the best mood on Friday morning, but by the time my afternoon classes came around I was in a chipper mood. I had a good afternoon which usually isn't the case. Friday after school was the school play. Greg came with me and all my students were so intrigued to meet him. I'm sure Monday will bring about a slew of comments about Greg and what they thought about him.
I was supposed to go ice skating this weekend but that didn't happen. And, as usual, its not Sunday and i have to spend my day planning for the rest of the week. Nana is supposed to call me, too, to get lunch before he heads out of town driving back to Denver. He came in for the weekend and I only saw him during our time at the Funny Bone last night. We were supposed to meet there an hour before the show and he showed up after the show started. Then, by the time the show ended it was really late and we all ran out of there ready for bed.
I'm also on the hunt for a new winter coat. I actually bought two this weekend...one Greg bought for me and another I bought. I might return the one that I bought and find something else because I really want something with a hood. The only reason I bought it was because it was the Community Day sale at Younkers yesterday and so a coat that was originally 200 dollars, I got for 80! A great find I thought but then I found out there is a store that possibly has what I'm looking for for only 50 dollars. I'm all about saving money so I'm going to look into that. Until then, its not like I don't have a winter coat, so I'll be okay.
