I went ice skating last night! YaY!!!
I found out that Des Moines Public Schools has a teacher exchange program with Japan! They will pay me full salary, and pay for my airplane ticket to teach in Japan. I'm not sure how living and food works out but I'm going to look into it and see if I can do that next year! I don't know how thrilled my principals will be...or if I am even allowed to do it since my first two years are my probation years..but I'll try and I'm super pumped about it so hopefully it'll all turn out the way I want.
Now, I'm actually going to do work that I never did earlier!
