UNI vs. DRAKE

I went to the UNI vs. Drake game today. Greg's ankle still hurts so we got there an hour and half early so we could sit in front row so we wouldn't have to stand the entire game and w/in twenty minutes half of the place was full!! Today was the second biggest crowd the Knapp Center has had. Drake started off kind of slow but we picked up during the second half and won the game! Yahoooo!!!! It was thrilling. Josh Young was on fire and Klayton Korver did some great shots helping with his 3's. Drake had 10 3 pointers made so now we get 30 percent off at the bookstore on Drake gear. If it wasn't so cold out I might actually go. The weather is ridiculous! So windy and the wind chill is at -9 degrees. I hate it. Another not so exciting news but interesting...we got a new Spike mascot suit. I'm quite confused on its look b/c it has girly eye lashes and its face kind of looks like a chipmunk/cat. I know all the Drake students were disappointed in the new costume but the guy inside was totally enthused so that was good. We got an email a few months back saying that Spike was sick and everyone was so terribly confused and today we got to watch a movie on how Spike was sick and getting better by working out and going to the salon (he's a darker color now) and then w/ the unroll of the red carpet Spike came running out and the entire crowd was like, "what's that??" Funny, but true.

APO adopted a Platoon and today we had our packaging party and I helped make Valentine's it was totally awesome. I had a lot of fun b/c we got to use glitter, fun scissors, and construction paper. it was a grand ol' time. Tomorrow is my first DEA meeting. I'm really hoping the cold doesn't scare people from coming. I want to be fabulous this semester so fabulous it shall be.

I haven't talked to my mom for awhile and it's kind of sad. She's at work and I'm at class or in meetings all the time. I miss talking to my mom. I hope she calls me tomorrow so we can catch up. I'm almost 11:30 pm so I'm going to do some homework, so till laterz y'all!
