So, I'm going to have my first DEA meeting this Sunday as President! haha, im soooo excited, except I have to make sure I remember and I have to make sure I'm prepared. Erin will be there, so hopefully she'll fill in my blanks. I bought them Valentine's day cookies and chocolates! haha, I'm SO excited!
Then today I think we finally made our decision for the Search Committee! That was great. I think we're done for this year then and hopefully everything will be approved and we will be happy because that means the search has ended! That was quite an experience and I'm really glad I had the chance to have an input on which professor should be hired for the certain position. Good stuff. really exciting.
I took Greg to the hospital today to get his x-rays done and we saw other Drake people there too. One girl fell on some ice and fractured her finger. It was like a Drake party.
I found my triple A card so that was exciting news for me.
I've spent a lot more money in one month than ever before in my life which means I seriously can't go shopping anymore until I get some money in there. My dad said my bank account is almost basically dead. :( what is a girl to do!! this frightens me a bit to the point of butterflies fluttering in my stomach. Well, I should do something productive. take care.
