Student teaching is going well. Today I took over Spelling...not as exciting as it seems, but the students do need spelling. Then, the exciting part of my day was doing Science Vocabulary Jeopardy with the class! They asked me if we could do that for every subject.
I REALLY need to get into the habit of going to bed early. I'm starting to write more lesson plans, and trying to plan out my units which is taking a long time. I come home exhausted every day that being tired, alone, slows me down. Then its shower time that always takes more time than it should, and I just have to have everything perfect. AAHHH. Teaching is a lot of work and I don't think people realize this...even while in their teaching practicums.
I had my second observation today for Spelling. I didn't get much feedback. I feel that since I'm already hired people aren't spending as much time with me as they are other students who haven't been hired yet. That fact is always brought up by others and I don't particularly like it. I'm still learning too and I want to better myself in my practice and I can't do that if I don't get feedback.
Its past 11 pm and I should have been in bed 2 hours ago. I'm quite behind...quite, quite behind.
Looking forward to Valentine's Day b/c it is my favorite holiday!
