My weekend was good. I went out with my sister on Saturday night and bought a lot of clothes, a necklace and saw Pirates of the Caribbean all to the courtesy of my sister! It was all for my birthday. Tomorrow I leave to go to Des Moines for the day and I will probably return on Wednesday. I will be heading to Denver sometime this weekend or next week. I suppose we shall see.
Yesterday I showed Linda around my town b/c she's in Chicago for the summer interning and she had never been to IKEA or Woodfield Mall, so I took her there for the first time of her life. I think she rather enjoyed it. We didn't have too much time considering it was Sunday and all the shops close earlier than other days. Then after hanging out with Linda, I hung out with my Junior High/High School buddy, Janet. I haven't seen her for two years I think.
I think this week I've been to the Mall almost everyday and each time I go its with someone different, and even with that I still haven't been into all the shops! My legs hurt from walking so much. I just wished the walking would help my thighs. Someone needs to work out, and that someone is me!
I'm in a state of being lost. I don't know what I'm really feeling regarding everything, but I don't like it one bit. Everyone keeps saying I'll be better after I see Greg. I really hope they are right. I just don't understand my emotions when I feel like I'm being so positive about it. ARG. Okay, well I have to get directions to DMACC, make brownies for my brother, and head back to my mom's to pack for tomorrow! Oh yeah, I have to also spend a fortune on gas for my car, too!
