I finally made it to Denver. There was this huge mix up at the airport and someone stole my seat on the airplane, even though I was an hour early to the gate, and I got bumped onto the next flight. Because of this, I didn't get in until after 4:45 Denver time when I was originally supposed to get in at 1:30. What happened was that the ticket agent said I couldn't get on the plane b/c my ticket didn't have a seat number on it, and after they did the last call I asked her again and she actually took the time to look at my ticket this time and said, "YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ON THIS FLIGHT"...well no duh, lady! Did I mention this was my first time flying since I was nine...and first time flying alone for that matter? Well, I waited at the airport alone with my huge carry-on and eventually made it to Denver, as you can see. The flight itself wasn't bad, but the descent was horrendous. If I never have to feel that feeling again, I would be a happy camper, which by the way I'm leaving before the canceled camping trip. The problem is that when I fly back I have a lay-over in Cedar Rapids, which means that I have to feel that descending feeling TWICE! BOOOO...boo on that a lot!
Well, obviously I came to Denver to see Gregory. He was released today from the Children's hospital and will be an out-patient from here on out, unless something horrible happens...like a fever. Yeah, pretty ridiculous, right? He's doing all right at this moment, but its weird to think that Greg has cancer. The doctors and nurses are pretty good..they kind of get mixed up on the doses of drugs he's supposed to take but Greg has all that down so well that he corrects them! Also, the hospital forgot to feed him twice! All I have to say is that thank goodness he's home now! Our plans for the next two weeks are going to be to catch up with a few of his friends, and appointments..and of course the usual movies. I hate to think that he's not going to back at school Fall semester, but I guess I'll have to suck it up and deal with it and pray that he'll be back Spring semester. Well, not much else going on besides being with Greg and that actually is a whole-lot going on. On that note, I bid you adieu until later this week. Have a fantastic week!
