Home Again

I'm home now and the flight back wasn't too bad at all. I was afraid I would have felt ill because I had the window seat but I was A-OK the entire time. I sat by some rude man after the 9 minute layover. I was at my seat already talking to my dad on the phone letting him know that I was leaving Cedar Rapids, IA and the man just threw his coat down on me and didn't even apologize. You better believe I didn't say a word or smile at him. He was all in my space-I really didn't appreciate any of it. My dad was waiting for me at baggage claim an hour and half before I got there! How nice of him. United landed in Terminal 2 so when I finally reached the Terminal 2 baggage claim I was informed by various signs that my baggage was actually in Terminal 1. The only problem with this was that there was construction going on so the terminal didn't connect from the inside and no one said that I had to actually leave the building, walk some distance outside and enter the next building over until I found a small sign on one of the used-to-be connecting doors. I even asked the help desk and the man just gave me attitude. I'm sorry for not being a frequent flier and not completely understanding how all this works. Well, that was that and then I was home.

My dad, brother and I went to see Surf's Up on Sunday morning. It wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be.The story I was a bit slow and the action was even slower. The best part of the movie was at the end and then you realized it WAS the end. Good thing we only paid the 'best-rate price' since it was before non. I'm really enthused to see Ratatouille this Friday.

I wish I was still in Denver. I actually can't wait to go back, so hopefully it'll be relatively soon.

I'm going to work on my APO scrapbook now. I hope I get something done. Did you know starting a sentence with "Hopefully" is grammatically incorrect? Think about it the next time you try to use it.

Lastly, according to the WWE newscast, Chris Benoit, his wife and son were all found dead. I tried to read a story on it but the site wouldn't load properly. I don't know if I completely believe it considering it is, in fact, the WWE. I guess we'll find out later.

Have a goodnight!

Yes, you're not "supposed" to use "hopefully" when you start a sentence, but that rule is fast disappearing because no one really understands it!!!!
