I actually have pictures to post but unfortunately I don't have internet. I'm at Jon and Shelley's place borrowing some internet time so I can post about my summer life. Today I realized I have turned into my mother. Greg was gone for most of the day for work, so what did I do? I cleaned! That is exactly what my mom does anytime she has some spare time...clean! Man, and all those years I swore I wouldn't turn into my mom-I did! At least I have a semi-clean apartment :) Still searching for furniture so we can put all our stuff away and trying to figure out how to get my questions answers from my landlord without receiving the generic answers I keep getting from her. This week I'll be going to Fulton, IL for Jon and Shelley's wedding! How exciting. I'm avoiding the bouquet during the bouquet toss, but shhhh-don't tell anybody. Which leads me to think about the conversation I had with my dad today. He loves to lecture me on the order in which I should lead my life and usually I just say, "uh huh" throughout the conversation to get through it alive. Today he talked about how I should wait until I have my career established and I have an actual savings and income to live by for a couple of years before thinking about getting married and I said, "I totally agree" and that was the end of that conversation. Probably the shortest lecture EVER from my dad. YaY.
The rain has changed many of my shopping plans. I really do hope it doesn't pour so much, but at least now I have a clean car!
Until later-stay dry, have fun, and do some crafts!
