My Fall Break was fast, but it was decent. I went to Mall of America with my dad and brother. I didn't get much shopping done, but I did get to pet a sting ray and a shark! I think that was probably the most exciting part of my weekend. I experienced at least 22 hours of driving time in a span of four days, which is actually a lot as a whole. On the way back to Drake, I skimmed off about 30 minutes in my drive time, with an average speed of 82 mph. I don't recommend it, but after being on the road all weekend the car was the last place I wanted to be.
I have one midterm this week. This is tomorrow night and I don't really have much time to study for it. I have to babysit all day tomorrow, and then I have my midterm right afterwards.
Then Friday is a SUPER busy day. I have to do a few things before lunch, then group project, hopefully shopping for food and toiletries, and then I have the ISEA conference to go to, which I still do not know the exact time yet. Saturday, the conference continues, and then I have to babysit for the night. Where will I have time for schoolwork? I don't know, but I'm sure I'll have to make time. I really need to make time because I have my management plan due very soon and I haven't work on that for awhile. This is for Dr. Beisser's Curriculum and Pedagogy class, where we basically write out how we will manage our classroom. This seems simple enough, but its not. The end product is usually like a book, and is used to put into our portfolio. I also have to have an entire book read, along with other projects and readings for other classes. Whew! Just thinking about it wears me out.
My email is a total mess. I haven't had time to go through and delete the garbage emails. I did receive an email saying that my account had a hold on it, so I would be unable to register for Spring semester. Turns out I didn't enter an active mailing address into MyDusis. I wish they'd fix it so it wasn't so complicated, but I did it.
Now, I really need to go study, so hasta luego!
