New things around campus

Drake has a lot of renovations going on, so I thought I'd post pictures on what's happening because after it's all done, the prospective students will have an AWESOME campus. I'm a little jealous.

Today is slide day! So we have a slide outside of Olmsted Center for students to play on. Obviously, nothing has started yet.

This is inside of Morehouse Hall. All newly painted with new furniture.

If you saw the Morehouse kitchen last year you have vomited; no joke! This is MUCH nicer and at a new location in the Hall.

These are ALL new washers and dryers in Morehouse. In fact, all the washers and dryers in all the dorms are brand new with a new system where you can actually pay with your ID card, reserve machines online, and be alerted when your laundry is done!

This is Cole Hall. I'm pretty sure its one of the oldest buildings on campus and they completely gutted it. They just put in the windows today. That is a shoot sticking out.

This was taken from behind G-K, where I live! I believe that is going to be a new dorm. There used to be houses in that exact location.

This is also behind G-K, but this building will have stores on the first floor and rooms for upper class above it. Its supposed to have a full kitchen and bathroom in each room, which all the older dorms on campus lack.

This is the same thing, but another perspective.

This kind of broke my heart when I saw it. This is in front of Crawford. There used to be a bridge that I had to cross everyday to see Greg. I know they're going to put in a new one, but I'm all about having the original.

The same business going on here, but in front of Carpenter Hall.
