ZoomZoomZoom!

I decided to finally get my new driver's license today. The wait was just long. It wasn't horrible, just long. I wore a decent shirt, straightened my hair and was hoping for a great picture. As it turned out, it didn't even matter what I wore or how my hair was because the woman working the photo place zoomed in so much all you can see is my head. I'm not really happy with my picture, but I guess after 4 years I get to try again.
Then my brother and I went to Toys R Us and bought the TV Wheel of Fortune game. I'm hoping this will help him with his reading and vocabulary.
I was starving and I couldn't wait to get home. I got out of my car and heard honking coming my way. It was my dad and he wanted to take me to take my car for its vehicle emissions test at that moment because we had one hour before it closed and the place was about 20 minutes away. So, we went and honestly I don't think they did the checks they were supposed to do because it was so quick (didn't check for the rpm or the gas cap), but they said we passed! I guess that'll do.
Two big things accomplished in one day, pretty awesome if you ask me.
We're going to attempt to go to Chicago and watch the fireworks. We're waiting for my mom to come home from work so we can all drive together. I'm pretty sure we're going to end up on the highway, stuck, with no movement of vehicles whatsoever and watch from there. It's happened before, so that's why I know. But, it is much better than doing nothing or watching it from home on the our TV.
I'm going to go now and take some medicine to help my headache.

Happy Independence Day!
