Summer Days

I didn't hang out with Julie this week but I did hang out with Perla! She's my high school Flags sister. We told everyone, back in the day, that we were really sisters but with different dads. We had to explain our different features somehow! I spent the entire day with her yesterday and it was really fun. We went and saw an early show of Ratatouille, then shopping, and then just chilling at my house. Her 21st is coming up, so I'm hoping we're going out of town for that. Maybe Vegas..maybe Ohio...or maybe just the house. We'll see what happens.

I really need to go renew my driver's license. I hope I actually remember this week. I also hope for low humidity so I can have a good hair day for my license picture.

I've been missing my high school friends a lot lately. There are so many people that I don't even talk to anymore and I really wished I did. I suppose I really miss my social connection since I have to stay home and watch my brother all week. Also, going back and forth from one house to another is a pain in the you know what because then my parents feel like I don't spend time with them especially if I go out for the day or I don't come to one of their houses to visit. Life is never simple, but I always remember that my situation could be worse.

I think its crazy how July is already here. I can't believe it! The summer has flown by and sooner or later I will have to go back to Drake and begin my Senior year! Wow! I think its hard for me to believe that in one year I will be almost beginning my career. People still say I look 15! I'm hoping my students don't think this means that they can get away with anything because that won't be true.

Either my dad is drilling or my brother is...either way I'm going to go find out what is happening! So, until later have a pleasant day!
