My exact thoughts of what would happen at the doctor's office happened. She looked at me like I was crazy and told me, "don't run if you don't have to...and if you have to run take an anti-inflammatory before you run and ice your ankles after you run"...are you serious??? Apparently I have to do this everything single time I run so I haven't run in awhile because walking causes my ankles to hurt a lot anyway. As for my stomach...she said that maybe its because I "skip meals"...which I don't. I just wake up late. She gave me some sample Prilosec that I haven't taken yet. Then as for my my lower abdomen pain, I have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow night. I can tell you how this is going to go, also. They will say there is nothing there and I should just take some ibuprofen. Isn't that how it usually goes anyway? I guess I'm coming off a bit bitter, but sometimes I think doctor's don't take their patients seriously all the time.
My traveling friend, Andy, sent me an email from Uganda today. He'll be home in mid August and will be back to reading my blog! (Because you know him reading my blog is all that matters...not that he makes it back, safely! I'm jk!). It'll be good to hear stories and hopefully see some pictures!
I am an expert cheesecake baker now; my sister's cake turned out great, especially for that fact that it was my first time making cheesecake and for the fact that I'm definitely not a baker!
Off to do some DEA duties!
