This week has been quite the week to say the least. I feel as though I don't have any down time to spend on just me. So you're probably like..why are you blogging then? Well, I really shouldn't be because I have to study for a midterm that I have later today, but in about 15 minutes I have to leave to meet my practicum teacher at Crestview. After today, I will be active in all three of my practicums. It would really be four, but I'm spending 20 hours in one class for two classes. I am ALL over Des Moines. I go to Oak Park Elementary on 6th St. on Wednesday, to Hanawalt Elem. on 56th on Mondays and now Crestview, off of 86th on whatever day I can fit it into.
I realized last night that my phone was not receiving any phone calls so I call the tech help and they said they can't do anything because I'm not authorized on the account. I was really frustrated because I hadn't studied for my midterm and I was expecting a really important call..of which I missed (kind of). They called but it wasn't something huge. I will have to call them back today.
The weather is supposed to be really bad today. So far, we only heard thunder and see fog and mist. Weather.com says its supposed to be really windy with rain that will turn into snow. Last night they were saying the winds will be in the mid 50's mph, but this morning it was changed to 35 mph. Either way, pretty strong winds. I'm afraid to walk aside. Hopefully, I won't blow away.
Siblings weekend is this weekend and it is also APO Pledge Retreat. I know a lot of siblings have already cancelled, which is unfortunate because its always fun to have the little ones around. I'm not sure if the APO Pledge Retreat will be cancelled, but we'll see. Only time will tell.
The time is telling me that I need to get going and I should take some time to sleep today because I haven't gotten much sleep in the past few days.
BIGGEST ACADEMIC LESSON: DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. GET THINGS DONE EARLY AND STUDY A WEEK IN ADVANCE!
peace. drive safely.
