Oh, you know...: Iowa State Fair!!!!

Last night was my first time to the Iowa State Fair! We went a little later in the day so we skimmed over many of the exhibits so we can take more time through them today. The reason we just skimmed and didn't just take the time to look through them, since we are going today again anyway, is because Greg went home today so Cammeo wanted to let him have a taste of the fair.

I have to say that all the talk about the fair is true. You meet many different kinds of people, the exhibits are interesting, everything is fried food, and they have animals!!! Honestly, I find animals so fascinating but I'm deathly afraid because you never know when an animal will lash out for whatever reason. Oh yes, I also saw the butter Shawn Johnson and the butter cow.I have tons of pictures from last night so I think I'll let them tell you the story of how my night went.

I was welcomed to the fair by this: Soy on Parade. Kind of like the Cows on Parade in Chicago. Unfortunately, it was a rather lonely parade because this was the only one I saw!

YES! We are on the Think Blue Drake poster!!! The fabulous four finally made it to the market and we've been poster-ized. Cam and I have Drake tattoos on as well.

I tried taking a picture of the entire poster but it was busy and couldn't get everything in there. I'm on a poster!!!

This is funny: The name of the pig is Poland China but its from the USA. hahaha.

This is what I was imitating! an Elk! Its HUGE!!!! I seriously think it was giving me an evil eye while I took pictures of it. It later started to show off its antlers by turning his head side to side like he was on the catwalk. I also saw him scratch his belly with his antlers!!
