Checked Out

The End.

I just checked out of my dorm.

This is a really eerie feeling. My last dorm. My last Drakeness....well, I guess I have my Senior Reception tonight and graduation tomorrow, so that will be my last, but seriously these past four years have flown by so fast. I still remember moving in as a freshman and meeting Annelise. Meeting all these new people that are now good old friends. Tomorrow we have to say goodbye as we all go our separate ways. Crazy.

College has been a great experience and I'm glad I went. I'm glad I lived in the dorms. I'm glad I took part in the many Drake activities. Seriously, this school works hard to keep us entertained and it works really well. I love Drake and I will miss being a Drake student. I am almost a Drake Alum! WhooHoo! I most definitely will be around next year to join in the festivities by trying to pass a student. I think I can do it. I'm glad I'm staying in Des Moines for a couple more years to help ease out of college life.

My new apartment has a lot of old people and as I strolled in around 1 am, I realized they are all probably asleep while at Drake more than half the dorm is still awake hanging out. This is going to be weird. I have to be a grown up.
