I ended up getting a chance to watch the end of the Drake game. On my tv the Gonzaga? game was on, but I was watching the ticker with the Drake time and score. Then, that game was finally over so they switched to the Drake game. When I started to watch, Drake closed the gap of 16 points and they tied, leading to OT. I was really hoping for Drake to win, but unfortunately, Kentucky took a 3 point shot at the last second and got it ending up with a 2 point lead. You could see the disappointment on the Drake players' faces, but they had a great season and they should proud of themselves for getting to the NCAA tournament. Something that really bothered me about the game was the announcer's mistake of calling Klayton Korver Kyle all the time. I mean, seriously! Has he not kept up with Drake enough to keep the names straight? I know Kyle Korver is great, seeing as though he is in the NBA, but if you're going to speak about a player at least get the name right. Well, I guess our basketball season is over, but I'm excited to see them back at Drake.
It's almost midnight and I need to finish packing to go back to Drake. My few days at home was enough. I'll be back when I'm back at Drake!
