Today was the first time EVER that I drove a car that had no gas! Well, obviously it had some but I had been driving on empty for the last three days. I was planning on leaving early this morning to get some gas, but I didn't leave early enough. I crossed my fingers the entire way to school hoping my car wouldn't shut down. The red light went on and my blood pressure went up. I'm a super paranoid person when I drive, but luckily I made it with no problems. We have a gas station right at the corner of the street my school is on so I filled up before school and now I'm good to go! I was watching 20/20 one day and the Tom said that once the red light goes on you usually have 60 miles more to go, but I honestly didn't want to test that theory when I had to be at work.
Teaching was great today. Tomorrow will be awesome as well because it is Quiz Day in math and geography!! YaY!!! I'm super excited.
This weekend will be good. Saturday is date night with Gregory :)
I guess I should finish my quiz geography.
Take care.
Always have at least 1/2 a tank of gas for your vehicle, listen to what your kids have to tell you, and help people you normally wouldn't help.
